A Pathway to Recovery

Welcome to ECHO Detroit

ENGAGEMENT CENTER

The Engagement Center is the 1st short-term stabilization facility in Detroit & Wayne County that offers compassionate pathways to recovery.

About Us

The Engagement Center is a community-focused stabilization facility operated by ECHO Detroit, serving individuals experiencing substance use-related concerns.

This facility is unaffiliated with the criminal justice system and outside of a hospital where intoxicated individuals can be safely monitored and directed to services in a welcoming, home-like setting for a 23-hour period.

Engagement Centers are not homeless shelters, nor do they function as mental health crisis centers. They are specifically designed to support individuals experiencing intoxication from alcohol and other substances, serving as a centralized hub for services, resources, and information.
